Happy [early] New Year!

So, I ended up not buying those shoes. This is mostly because I went out on my lunch and bought a ton of clothes (oops). BUT it's alright because I have a hot pair of Steve Maddens sitting in my closet that I've only worn once. I bought them to wear to my work Christmas party and they're too beautiful to just sit neglected under a pile of clothing.

This picture makes the heel look a bit odd, it's really a reflective silver. I actually had to get them stretched a little at the front because they're tight as heck. These shoes are NOT comfortable at all, but when you buy shoes like this you're not really looking for comfort. This is the second pair of Maddens I've bought and I'm really impressed by the craftsmanship. There's certain brands that, even though they're considered 'high end', are just NOT put together well. Guess is one of the brands I'm not a fan of, I don't know about the quality of their clothes, but their shoes and bags do not stand the test of time.

The peep toes I wanted ARE actually Guess, but we'll just ignore that fact.

I really have no idea what I'm going to WEAR with my fabulous heels, I went out today because I saw a nice colour blocked dress online last night, but when I tried it on it was absolutely shapeless. I was really disappointed, it was so nice on the model.. they must've pinned it back. Most of what I ended up buying today are going to end up being work clothes.. a black skit, black shorts to wear with tights. Tomorrow I will be buying boots if my size is available. A girl I work with bought these cute boots that look like expensive Mukluks and apparently they are on sale for $10. I'm making a special trip out tomorrow morning JUST for that.

Shoe addict? I think so.

That's all for tonight! Hope everyone has a safe and happy new year <3
